Work packages and structure
GENIAL is organised into five interrelated work packages that ensure both academic rigor and practical relevance:
-
WP1 – Project Management
Provides overall coordination, quality assurance, and risk management, ensuring timely delivery, strong collaboration, and transparent reporting across the consortium. -
WP2 – Ethical and Pedagogical Framework
Develops the theoretical and ethical backbone of the project. This includes a comprehensive literature review, the design of an AI framework for early childhood education, large-scale consultation with preservice and in-service teachers, multilingual adaptation, and academic dissemination through peer-reviewed publications . -
WP3 – Validation of Educational Materials
Translates the framework into practice through pilot implementation in educational settings. Materials are tested, evaluated, and refined in collaboration with educators, ensuring usability, inclusivity, and pedagogical relevance across contexts. -
WP4 – Digital Platform
Designs and develops a digital platform that hosts the framework, educational resources, and implementation tools. The platform prioritises accessibility, data protection, low-bandwidth usability, and long-term sustainability. -
WP5 – Communication, Dissemination, and Sustainability
Ensures that project outcomes reach educators, policymakers, researchers, and institutions through conferences, publications, digital communication, and policy engagement. Sustainability planning supports continued use beyond the project’s lifetime.
