Call for Application of the 2nd International Summer School on Sustainable Transportation and Logistics at Southwest Jiaotong University

With the support from the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), UiT and Southwest Jiaotong University will jointly organize the 2nd International PhD/Master Summer School on Sustainable Transportation and Logistics.

The final date of the summer school has not been determined, but it will be within the period between July 1st and July 11th at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China. Southwest Jiaotong University is the best university in China specializing in transportation and logistics, and "Jiaotong" means transportation in Chinese. The summer school features dynamic programs including general activities such as introduction and lab visits, seminars from leading experts, group projects, social activities, and a tour of Chengdu. We are now announcing 5 scholarships at UiT, which will provide full support for travel, accommodation, activities, insurance, as well as other related costs. If you are interested, please send your CV and a short motivation letter to hao.yu@uit.no by April 11th, 13:00, and the results will be announced shortly after the deadline. The priority for the scholarship will be given to 1) PhD/Master students in relevant fields of study at UiT; 2) PhD/Master students in other fields at UiT/other universities in Norway; 3) Students from other levels or subjects at UiT and also students from other universities in Norway.

In addition, the project will also support 3-month mobility to Southwest Jiaotong University (China) and to the Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada) for PhD students and Master's students.
