Project Meeting and Partner Visit of Southwest Jiaotong University

On March 17–18, a delegation from UiT visited Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU). The delegation consisted of Prof. Bjørn Reidar Sørensen (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology), Prof. Wei Deng Solvang (Head of Department of Industrial Engineering), Prof. Bjørn Solvang, and Dr. Hao Yu.

Prof. Sørensen began by presenting an overview of research and educational activities at the faculty. Delegations from the two UTforsk partners then discussed opportunities to further strengthen their ongoing collaboration. Following the discussions, the UiT delegation toured the laboratories of the School of Transportation and Logistics at SWJTU.
