Visit to New Partner and Research Seminar at Wuhan University of Technology

On 24 October, Dr. Hao Yu visited the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology, a leading institute in China dedicated to advancing transportation systems, intelligent logistics, and modern supply chain engineering, with strong expertise in maritime transport and logistics. During the visit, Dr. Yu delivered a seminar titled “From Equations to Prompts: How Generative AI is Transforming Engineering Education.”

The meeting and seminar were hosted by Dr. Yaqiong Lv, who leads a research group specializing in intelligent fault diagnosis and system resilience in logistics and manufacturing systems using advanced data-driven and AI-enabled methods. The discussions revealed strong mutual research interests in logistics engineering and management between UiT and WUT. Dr. Lv also agreed to join the Utforsk project as an associate partner, contributing to the co-organization of summer schools and supporting future student and staff exchanges between the two institutions.
