Call for Application of the 3rd International Summer School on Sustainable Logistics

Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) and UiT will jointly organize the 3rd International Summer School on Sustainable Logistics, from July 6th to 9th, 2026, at SWJTU, Chengdu, China. As a key partner of the UTFORSK project Industry 5.0 enabled Smart Logistics: A Global Perspective, SWJTU is widely recognized as one of the leading universities in China specializing in transportation and logistics, and “Jiaotong” means transportation in Chinese. The summer school features a dynamic program including academic activities such as introductions and lab visits, lectures and seminars delivered by leading experts, group projects, as well as social and cultural activities. We are now announcing 3–4 scholarship opportunities at UiT supported by the Utforsk project, subject to funding availability.

The scholarship will cover flight tickets, accommodation, program activities, travel-specific insurance, and visa application costs. If you are interested, please send your CV and a short motivation letter to hao.yu@uit.no by May 10th, 13:00. The results will be announced shortly after the deadline.

Priority for the scholarships will be given to:

• PhD/Master students in relevant fields of study at UiT
• Students from other levels or disciplines at UiT
• PhD/Master students in relevant fields from other universities in Norway
