How can PYRO assist me as a young researcher?

  • dissemination of grant applications calls for young researchers and international mobility opportunities.
  • forming of new collaborations for future research and grant proposals by facilitating the networking/establishment of contacts across the Faculty of Health Sciences departments.
  • organizing workshops, lectures and tutoring towards internal and external calls as well as career plan-, network- and leadership development.
  • maximization of the number of applications for young researchers calls, with a “grant application day” to guide and prepare young researchers on how to write successful research proposals.

Is PYRO the place for me to go for in-depth discussions related to my own research area?

Because of the broad range of competences and specializations among PYRO members, the activities will likely focus more on general topics regarding skills that a young researcher require training in, such as scientific writing, rhetorics, science communication, research proposal writing, and career path development.
