This project is a collaboration between UiT The Arctic University of Norway and Tromsø municipality, funded from the Norwegian research councils "public sector PhD" programme.
Through a qualitative study we aim to explore how welfare technologies are met and handled in the municipal health services. The implementation of currently available welfare technologies will be followed through three phases: from they are assessed and chosen as appropriate for individual service users receiving municipal care, then brought out to the user by health care staff, and finally are installed in the recipients home.
