PhD School in Molecular and Clinical Cancer Research (MCCR)

About the PhD School

The MCCR PhD school includes most of the research groups at the Faculty of Health Science performing cancer research. Both basal biomedical researchers and clinical researchers are represented.

The school will have an open profile meaning that also PhD students from research groups that are not currently in the PhD school can be enrolled at a later stage.

Together the research groups perform basic- clinical and translational research at a high international level. The PhD school will be an important instrument in the work to sustain and develop strong research groups carrying out cancer research at the Faculty.

Joining basal-, clinical and translational research groups in the MCCR PhD school give the participating students and research groups access to an environment that will act as a meeting place and creative arena for developing strong translational research in the future.
