21.05.2021: UiT in Hammerfest – in-person course delivery cancelled in week 21
As a result of the ongoing outbreak of corona virus in the municipality, all in-person course delivery associated with UiT in Hammerfest will be cancelled in week 21. Affected students will receive further information from their study program about the consequences this will have on them individually.
UiT in Hammerfest, including the library, will be open and study spaces will be available for students preparing for exams.
Employees who have the opportunity to do so are asked to work from home. Any questions should be directed to the nearest leader.
- The situation in Hammerfest is unclear, and it may be necessary to implement further measures, says assistant university director Gøril Heitmann.
Students and staff are asked to stay up to date on the infection situation and follow municipal guidelines and advice.
