Kabelvåg in Lofoten is the oldest - and formerly also the largest - fishing village in Lofoten, and today has approximately 1,700 inhabitants. Filmkunstskolen in Kabelvåg is for students who have the desire, initiative and determination to create and influence the world through moving images. The school's location in a non-urban area is unique in a Norwegian and international context. This is an important part of the school's identity and self-understanding.
