EXHIBITION - “THE UNISSUED DIPLOMAS”
WHAT'S THE PROJECT ABOUT?
The Unissued Diplomas team has created this exhibition to remind the world about the ongoing war and the price Ukrainians pay daily in their fight for freedom. "Unissued Diplomas" honors the memory of Ukrainian students who will never graduate because their lives were taken by the Russian invasion.

UN reports that since February 24, 2022, over 10,200 Ukrainian civilians have lost their lives due to Russia’s full-scale invasion. This number does not include the thousands of defenders who sacrificed their lives to prevent further innocent deaths. It is our duty not to let their lives be reduced to mere statistics and silence.

Every day, Ukrainians pay a high price to live in a free and independent country. And Russian aggression takes lives of thousands of civilians, among those – students. We, their peers, friends, classmates, acquaintances are now – amplifying the voices of those silenced forever.

Here are 4 substantial reasons to attend the exhibition of Unissued Diplomas:

1. Commemorate the lives of hundreds of Ukrainian students killed by Russia.
The 40 diplomas represent a greater majority. Students who aimed to graduate just like you, who laughed with their friends and spent sleepless nights over uni assignments. Their sacrifices deserve our recognition, their hopes and dreams should be eternally honored, even if they will never be fulfilled.

2. Stand up for what you believe in and put your values into action.

If you support democracy, human rights and freedom of speech, don’t let Russia negate your values. Speak out your truth and become part of the worldwide movement for justice.

3. Meet new people and show your support to Ukrainian students whose lives are daily impacted by war.
Humans can only survive in communities, and stronger communities are built on mutual action for the greater good.

4. Spread awareness about our cause.
The war is not over. So many lives are still at stake. Even if the number of unissued Ukrainian diplomas is rising, we cannot let them remain just numbers. Spread the word. Honor your peers.

Stand with Ukraine.

This exhibition exists to remind the world that a full-scale invasion is still going. It takes lives. Students have staked their future on the country and are constantly on the edge. And we are sharing 40 stories of those.

Come and experience. Come and commemorate. Come and support.
