As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform academia, it offers both opportunities to enhance work-life balance through streamlined tasks and improved time management, while also automating repetitive tasks and enriching student learning experiences. However, AI's integration also raises concerns about increased productivity expectations, job security, and blurred boundaries between work and personal life, potentially heightening stress, and burnout. The integration of AI also challenges the roles and responsibilities of supervisors. This workshop aims to equip supervisors with strategies to effectively navigate and reflect both about the challenges and the opportunities, ensuring a balanced approach to leveraging AI's benefits against its challenges. Join us to explore the multifaceted impact of AI on academic work-life balance and to join a scholarly discussion about well-being, productivity of our academic community and supervisors’ roles and responsibilities. We are so lucky to have Marko Lukic, the leader of UiT’s AI-team to talk about this important topic
