Print, copy and scan
You can print, copy and scan to e-mail at the library, provided that you’ve activated your IT-user account (Feide) at UiT. Simply use your student/employee card (ID card) or log on manually with your UiT username and password (Feide) to access the services. For easy access, link the account to your card so that you can log in to the printers by presenting the card to the printer card reader. How to activate your card for printing.
You can print by logging in to our public PCs using your IT-user account at UiT. The PCs are connected to the Secure-print printing service at UiT.
You can also print from your own laptop or Mac via the website MobilPrint.

In certain libraries, we also offer guest PCs for which you do not need a dedicated user account. Ask the information desk staff at the library in question as needed.
All of our printers are connected to UIT the Arctic University of Norway Secure-print solution.

The Kopinor reprographic agreement covers students’ and employees’ right to copying for internal use within the organisation. Some restrictions apply, and you may copy only up to 15% of the total pages in a book, but you can still copy a whole novella or a full chapter or similar section. Books that are no longer available to buy or acquire directly from the publisher within a reasonable period of time may be copied up to 30%.
