You can print, copy and scan to e-mail at the library, provided that you’ve activated your IT-user account (Feide) at UiT. Simply use your student/employee card (ID card) or log on manually with your IT-user account to access the services. You can print by logging in to our public PCs using your IT-user account at UiT. The PCs are connected to the PullPrint printing service at UiT.

You can also print from your own laptop or Mac via the website MobilPrint. Read more about MobilPrint printing.

In certain libraries, we also offer guest PCs for which you do not need a dedicated user account. Ask the information desk staff at the library in question as needed.

Print

All of our printers are connected to UIT the Arctic University of Norway PullPrint solution.

At UiT, you simply use your student/employee card (ID card) or log on manually with your IT-user account to collect printouts from our printers. The service is available when you’ve activated your IT-user account at UiT. For students, printouts cost NOK 0.20 per black/white page and NOK 0.80 per colour page. You will be allocated 200 printing credits at the start of the semester (corresponding to 1,000 black/white pages). You can buy additional printing credits when you have used these. Copying

The service is available when you’ve activated your IT-user account at UiT. The Kopinor reprographic agreement covers students’ and employees’ right to copying for internal use within the organisation. Some restrictions apply, and you may copy only up to 15% of the total pages in a book, but you can still copy a whole novella or a full chapter or similar section. Books that are no longer available to buy or acquire directly from the publisher within a reasonable period of time may be copied up to 30%.

Scanning
