    Research interests

I am interested in the diversity and biology of microbial communities, and especially fungi that are found in the marine environment. My current research focuses on microbial cultivability and the fungal dimension of marine microbiomes (ecology, biosystematics). With my research I contribute to biodiscovery of novel natural products within the Marbio research group and Centre for New Antibacterial Strategies. Ongoing projects: Norwegian Marine Fungi
