In the research group RNA and Molecular pathology we study the underlying disease mechanisms in cancer and in autoimmune diseases.

I am involved in the research project Breast cancer-associated long non-coding RNA NEAT1 and paraspeckles in cellular stress responses. In this project we investigate how NEAT1 is involved in different cellular stressors, and investigate the impact of abnormal NEAT1 gene expression in breast cancer development.

We use a translational approach in our studies through physiological and cellular study of the heart. Some examples include:
