Women’s and Gender Research at UiT
The Center for Women's and Gender Research is the university's unit for competence building within gender research and gender perspectives in education. We are organizationally affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Teacher Education, but our scope of work encompasses the entire UiT. We strive to raise awareness of gender issues among students and staff at UiT within their respective fields of study and, crossing disciplinary boundaries, to enhance the university's overall research activities in our area of expertise.
