Digital Lecture: “Situating Contingency in the Path of International Law”

We are happy to announce that the next speaker in the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS) digital lecture series is Professor Ingo Venzke (University of Amsterdam). The title of his lecture is “Situating Contingency in the Path of International Law”.

The lecture is part of our series "Theorizing Law of the Sea in Context". The purpose of the series is to contextualize the law of the sea, with emphasis on theory and methodology, by presenting multiple and novel perspectives we hope to enrich the law of the sea scholarship

Venzke has edited the book “Situating Contingency in International Law: On the possibility of a different law” that will be published by Oxford Unity Press this year.
