Modern methods for (causal) modeling in health and medical science: Uses, cautions, limits

Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology and Statistics Sander Greenland at the University of California, Los Angeles gave a presentation in March at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. The title of his presentation was “Modern methods for (causal) modeling in health and medical science: Uses, cautions, limits “.

The EPINOR students had the privilege of being invited to attend the presentation, in which he among others talked about DAGs (directed acyclic graphs). It was very interesting and inspiring to listen such a methodological capacity.

On behalf of the EPINOR students, I would like to thank the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology and EPINOR for the opportunity to attend the presentation and have lunch with Sander Greenland.
