The workshop/roundtable is organised by the Research Group 'Societal Security, Safety, Engineering, Environment and Emergency preparedness' (S3E3) from the UiT Department of Technology and Safety. As one of the groups activities, the annual international UiT Societal Security Workshop has become a tradition since 2016. It gathers leading scholars in the field, external project partners and participants, practitioners, staff members and students in order to promote and benefit from knowledge sharing and cooperation.
