Invitation to Montreal

In the second last week of February 2024, Bastian was invited by Francois Major to Montreal, Canada to talk about MirGeneDB and MirMachine and to discuss grant proposals we are planning to write.

A warm welcome was followed by one-on-one discussions with other lab leaders. The seminar was well received by about 50 listeners and curious questions by students and faculty alike. The second day continued with lab meeting and discussions and ended with a nice Quebecian dinner.
