Research
The Sahel region are embedded into a series of severe socital problems. Our main assumption is that many of these stems from communication challenges and that lack dialogue. Further, assumption is that advances in visual tools for collaboration can contribute to the creation of intra-cultural and cross-cultural dialogue.
The Sahel on Sahel project is building research, and dissemination practices, based on the "regards croiés" methodology using audiovisual and digital technologies sahring perspectives
We have the intention of creating applicable knowledge about changing livelihood strategies in the Sahel, connected to the following two resarch themes:
Living together, coming apart: mobility, belonging and uncertainty/hope
Communicative barriers and cross-cultural dialogue: the study of why information is not sahred and what might be done
