Development and renewal of the Study Portfolio
From 2023 to 2026, we will review and renew the Study Portfolio at UiT. We do this to ensure that our study offer meets society's skills needs, and that we use our resources in the best possible way.
In 2023 (phase 1), new frameworks for the disciplinary educations were adopted, in addition to a portfolio development plan with 29 measures (only in Norwegian).
In 2024–2025 (phase 2), these measures will be implemented so that the new Study Portfolio is ready by April 2025.
What is the goal?
The goal is a sustainable Study Portfolio of high quality that safeguards UiT's academic distinctiveness. It must be adapted to population development and the skills needs of working life.
What shall we do?
During the process, we will rethink both the content and organization of our educational offer. For example, we will look at new opportunities for collaboration and how we can make our education more flexible.
Who will participate?
The process will be carried out across faculties.
What is the result?
A reviewed and renewed Study Portfolio by March 2025.
