Liliia Oprysk is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Bergen, with primary research areas in EU intellectual property and technology law, as well as EU/EEA law. Liliia received her education from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), and the University of Tartu, and has conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. Her research interests include the harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with EU law and Ukraine’s relations with the EU and the EEA/EFTA states. Since joining the University of Bergen as an Associate Professor in 2021, Liliia has been actively engaged in disseminating Ukraine-related topics in Bergen and has served as organiser and co-organiser of several international international conferences and seminars on Ukraine’s EU integration, accountability and justice, and Ukrainian society.
