Here are some apps that can be useful for you in your work or studies.
Cisco AnyConnect
The Cisco AnyConnect app allows you to easily connect your handheld device(s) (smart phones, tablets) to the UiT Virtual Private Network (VPN) server. The app is available both for Apple iOS and Android and it is free.

Bluefire Reader
Bluefire Reader is an app for reading books on mobile devices.
Bluefire Reader is free and available for PC, Apple iOS, and Android. To use the app you will need to register an Adobe account.
If you have searched for and found an ebrary-book in the library search service you can simply click on the book, login to ebrary and choose "Download". The book or the chapter you have selected will be downloaded and you can choose "Open in..." and choose Bluefire. Then the book or chapter will scale to be used with the Bluefire app.

BrowZine
You can easily access electronic journals which the University Library subscribes to using BrowZine. You can search for publications according to title, subject, or ISSN.
As a student or employee you can create an account and place your favorite publications on an electronic bookshelf. That way you will be notified as soon as new issues become available.

Nettskjema
Nettskjema is a web-based tool for creating surveys, multiple-choice assignments, sign-up forms, and gathering data as part of research projects. Read more about Nettskjema and the Nettskjema Privacy Statement.

Diktafon-app
Nettskjema also offers an app that can be used to take secure recordings on your mobile device. You must first create a Nettskjema form that can be used to collect the data from the app. This service is offered in cooperation between several institutions and is maintained by the University of Oslo. Keenious
Keenious is an academic tool that recommends research articles relevant to your own text. The Keenious app is integrated into Microsoft Word for all UiT users. You can easily use the tool by clicking on the Keenious icon in the top right corner of your Word document. Keenious can also be used via a web-based solution at keenious.com.
