📋Who Can Apply?

Placement opportunities in Medical and Health Care Sciences, including practical and clinical placements, internships and traineeships, are only available to students from our official partner universities.

🚫 Freemover Policy

UiT does not accept freemovers or independent students for hospital placements in Northern Norway (Alta, Bardufoss, Bodø, Hammerfest, Harstad, Kirkenes, Mo i Rana, and Tromsø) within Clinical Medicine or Health Care disciplines such as nursing, midwifery, elderly care, radiography, and related areas.

To find out whether your university has a partnership with UiT, please contact the Erasmus+ Coordinator or the International Office at your home institution.

✅ Nominations and Application Deadlines

Partner institutions will receive an email invitation to nominate their students directly through an online form.

Nomination deadlines:

• Clinical Rotations in Medicine: 10 September / 10 March 

• Nursing: 15 September / 15 March 

• All Other Programmes: 15 October / 15 April

Student Application Deadlines

After nomination, students will receive an email with information and a link to the Application Form.

• Clinical Rotations in Medicine: 1 October / 1 April

• Nursing: 15 October / 15 April 

• All Other Programmes: 1 November / 1 May
