Exceptional Changes to the Learning Agreement (after arrival) - Inbound Exchange Students

Please note that you are only given permission to register for the courses stated in your Learning Agreement. All changes to your original Learning Agreement have to be approved by your home university and UiT.

You may change course modules in your previously approved/signed Learning Agreement if:

  1. Timetable conflict between the approved course modules;

  2. Previously selected course module is no longer offered by the Department,

  3. Previously approved course module is not recognized / apporved by your home university,

  4. Previously approved course module is in different language than previously specified in the Course Catalogue,

  5. Extending the mobility period (you are allowed to spend only two semesters as an exchange student).

Deadlines for changes in the Learning Agreement

  • 1 February (spring semester).

  • 1 September (autumn semester).


How to make changes to your Learning Agreement (step by step guidelines):

  1. Erasmus+ Students: contact your Eramus ECTS Coordinator at your home university to get the correct form of Learning Agreement (we only accept pdf-based forms).

  2. Choose your new course module(s): Course Modules for Exchange Students | UiT

  3. Make sure that the new course module(s) is/are not in conflict with other course modules in your Learning Agreement: Timeplan 2023 | UiT

  4. Get the new course module(s) approved by your ECTS Department at UiT: Course Coordinators at the Department | UiT

  5. Get the new course module(s) approved and signed by your ECTS Coordinator at your home universityin your Online Learning Agreement.

  6. The Inbound Student Mobility Team will register the course module(s) in your educational plan on the Studentweb
