Professional support from RKBU North
If your municipality or workplace is planning a professional development day, working on a specific topic, or needs to develop your expertise, RKBU North can provide support on topics related to children and youth. One of the tasks of the Regional Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (RKBU North) is to offer support to services that work with children, youth, and families. The institute has made it easier to order support for your work by offering package solutions for competence development.
In the online overview, you can find topics that directly relate to the upbringing of children and youth, such as youth and substance abuse, foster care, mental health among Sami youth, bullying, children as relatives, and crisis education. All offers are described in the portal. There are also offers on how to work more broadly with interdisciplinary topics, good decision-making processes, and colleague guidance. RKBU North also accepts customized assignments if municipalities have other needs for service support.
Municipalities can contact RKBU North through the portal. The center will then contact you to agree on a program, date, and practical arrangements. If there are few participants, it may be appropriate to gather several municipalities in the same offer.
