Regional Centre for Child and Youth Mental Health and Child Welfare (RKBU North) is a service for service providers.

RKBU North is one of four centres in Norway that provides education to professionals who work within child welfare and mental health. We are involved in education, courses and conferences all closely linked to practice and based on research.

The centre carries out research and professional development related to the mental health of children and adolescents, and child welfare. Our research aims to improve the quality of services provided to children and adolescents.

RKBU Nord supports professionals working with children, young people, and their families through education, professional development, and research. RKBU North is financed by a governmental grant from the Norwegian Directorate of Health and the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs.
