SHI 2022 - Call for papers
SHI 2022 is an interdisciplinary forum for researchers in health informatics and digital health, and aims to facilitate scientific discussion, share experiences, and promote collaboration and networking.
The target audience is researchers and others interested in health informatics, including stakeholds in development, implementation, evaluation, teaching, and health sector management.
We welcome empirical as well as theoretical and methodological papers from all countries. We encourage Ph.D. students, postdocs and junior researchers to submit their work.
We welcome submissions in topics related to health informatics and health technology, including, but not limited to, the following areas:
Health Information Systems and central components Human Factors in Health Informatics design eHealth & mHealth Solutions |
Citizen-centric Health Informatics Security, Privacy, and Ethics AI and ML in eHealth applications and services

Submissions will be evaluated by an international scientific program committee. SHI 2022 uses single blind peer-reviewing, and therefore submissions should have the names and affiliations of authors listed on the paper.
We welcome full papers (recommended 5 pages, max. 8 pages), extended abstracts (max. 2 pages) and poster abstracts (max. 1 page). Full papers, extended abstracts, and poster abstracts will be published by LiU Electronic Press, nominated as Level 1 publishing channel by the Norwegian Publishing Committee: https://ep.liu.se/en/home.aspx. Contributions must be written in English.
By submitting your paper you agree to publish it in the conference proceeding under a CC-BY-NC-license.
Please note that pressenting authors for accepted contribution must be registered to the conference in order to be included in the conference proceedings. Registration deadlines is August 1st.
