SEDNA aims to identify and quantify the links between seasonal and spatial changes in physical ocean conditions and the pelagic ecosystem of the Central Arctic Ocean (CAO). It relies on data collected from the Tara Polar Station to assess seasonal changes in:

1) Atlantification and Stratification across the CAO

2) Biodiversity, Functional roles, and Trophic interactions

3) Sources and Sinks of Carbon
