Prof Pinaki Bhattacharya

Dr Pinaki Bhattacharya is a Professor Emeritus at the Heritage Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD (Engg.) and M.Ch.E. He has over 40 years of experience in teaching and research. He is an expert in several areas, including Mathematical Models, Chemical and Biochemical Kinetics, Chemical Engineering, Thin Films, Fermentation, and Process Engineering. He has published 135 research articles with over 20,000 citations and has an h-index of 24, indicating that he is a highly experienced and respected researcher in his field.

Dr Anna MIkola 

Dr Anna MIkola is at the Department of Built Environment responsible for teaching and research on wastewater treatment technologies. Anna Mikkola has over 15 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering and design from two consultant companies Kiuru & Rautiainen and Ramboll Finland.  Her doctoral research involved a full-scale project in Pihlajaniemi WWTP on the effects of wastewater equalization and pre-fermentation on biological nutrient removal. Her research interests are nutrient removal and recovery, removal of micropollutants and microplastics and control of GHG emissions in municipal wastewater treatment.

Dr. Subhashis Das

Postdoctoral Research Fellow: The Department of building, energy and material technology at the Engineering Faculty; UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.  His research work focuses on developing mathematical models by integrating the bio-electrochemical kinetics and mass and charge balances within the MFC.

Mr Nandyala Siva Kishan

PhD studies at SRKREC working on Exploration of Integrated Landscape Management approach in the sustainable water resources management of the Western Delta of Godavari River in India.. Siva is registered at the UiT, Norway.

Mr Penupothula Raju

He is a registered PhD student of UiT, Norway and working in SRKREC. His research is focused on theAssessment of seasonal variations in surface and ground water quality to present a dynamic water quality model on the Western Delta of Godavari River

He is a junior researcher fellow at DYPOSE, his PhD studies is registered at the UiT. His research is to develop a novel embedded vision based smart robotic system for sewer pipe blockage removal.

He is a junior researcher fellow at SRKREC. He is working on Coupling remote sensing and hydrodynamic modeling to assess the dynamics of water quality in the water body and utilize as a decision-supporting tool.

Mr Aritro Banerjee

Aritro Banerjee is Doctoral Research Fellow. He is a registered PhD student at UiT Narvik, Norway. He has work experience in the waste and drinking water treatment technologies as a design engineer. His present area of research is on water treatment technology with a special preference to microbial fuel cells. He has published three articles with 15 citations and has an h-index of 2.
