Disinformation, while not a new phenomenon, has become widespread with the rise of internet and social media, as well as the involvement of state actors in organised and systematic disinformation campaigns. 

As modern society continues to grapple with disinformation and its consequences, the Faculty of Law at UiT in cooperation with the FAKENEWS Project is organising a workshop to discuss the role of law as a response to disinformation. 

The workshop will take place on 24. October 2024 at the University of Tromsø, Faculty of Law, Teorifagbygget hus 4, 4.213 (address: Hansine Hansens veg 18, Tromsø)
