We offer BA, MA and PhD degrees in philosophy. We have research groups in Political Philosophy, Environmental Philosophy, Feminist Philosophy and Ethics.

The institute also house the Centre for Women's and Gender Research. The center is the university's unit for competence building within gender research and gender perspectives in education. The center offers a one-year program in equality and gender and has the research groups Artful Dementia and Contemporary Gender Research.
