Haugland-Grange Lab

Welcome to the website of the Haugland-Grange research group! We are an organic chemistry lab set up in 2020, led by Dr Marius Haugland-Grange, and based at the Department of Chemistry, UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

Our research interests center on synthetic chemistry, with applications spanning the fields of organic chemistry, materials science and chemical biology. Current focus areas are late-stage modification, stable organic radicals, and single-molecule studies using patch clamp electrophysiology. For more information about our research interests, see our Research page.

We are affiliated with the Center for New Antibacterial Strategies (CANS) at UiT, which brings together experts across disciplines to address the antibacterial resistance crisis.
