The Cultural and Social Sciences Library has a dedicated room called the Indigenous Collection/Álgoálbmotčoakkáldat, where the majority of our books with Indigenous relevance can be found. The collection has a broad thematic reach, but all of the books have some form of connection to Indigenous People, for example the language in which the books are written or the themes they address. The Indigenous Collection is located on the second floor of the library in the southwestern corner (facing the Theoretical Sciences cafeteria). The Ultima Thule collection is situated next door and primarily contains rare books and other materials about and from the High North.

Please contact The University Library for further information about the Indigenous Collection.
