Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics
The Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics (BFE) is the organizational and administrative framework for three departments; Norwegian College of Fishery Science, Department of Arctic and Marine Biology and School of Business and Economics.
Central to BFE's business is the development of multidisciplinary, relevant and cutting-edge expertise in the research and educational programs that are administered. BFE is one of seven faculties at the UiT The Norwegian Arctic University. There are approxinately 500 employees and 3000 students at the faculty, working together for further development of expertise.
