To the user registration form

Anyone over the age of 18 may borrow books from the UiT University Library, but you must be registered to use our services. 

Students are automatically added as patrons at the University Library when the semester fee is registered and paid in Studentweb. Make sure you have the correct contact information in Studentweb. See information on change of address.
The student card or Student ID app is used as a library card.

Employees and research fellows must register as borrowers at the University Library by filling in the user registration form.
Processing time is approximately one working day. Your employee card is used as a loan card. When a new employee card is issued, this must be updated at the library.

UNN employees must register as borrowers at the University Library by filling in the user registration form.
Processing time is approximately one working day. When the registration form has been processed loan cards are issued upon personal attendance at the library during staffed opening hours. Remember valid identification (bank card/driver's licence).

The loan card can be used in all our libraries. The loan card is personal. Borrowers are obliged to report any change of address, e-mail address, telephone, user affiliation, etc. Send your inquiry to post@ub.uit.no.
